Hi everyone, I'm Joe, and I will be playing Serdic from Rondo of Swords. This is the evil version, due to the fact that I really couldn't find any icons of good Serdic (I deeply apologize to anyone that would have wanted to play Marie).
Serdic is a false ruler, having been the heir's double, the real Prince Serdic having died shortly after a surprise attack by the Grand Meir empire. His "evil" version changed his blue eyes to red, his hair a darker shade, and his armor more elaborate. He changed Bretwalde from a monarchy to a theocracy, and declared himself "Divine Emperor". He also showed absolutely no mercy in his retaliation against Grand Meir.
Rondo of Swords was a DS game (I wanted to pick a game from a Nintendo platform ^^) by Atlus, famous for the Persona series and the Shin Megami Tensei series. It is probably the only E-rated game in existance that involves you killing your sister in cold blood (if you choose the evil path), and is DEFINITELY the only E-rated game ever involving not one, but two canon loli pairings with the protagonist (in which you can marry a twelve year old Princess of Darkness or a fourteen year old Pope). I personally wouldn't object to those being expanded on here, but I certainly won't mind if said pairings were outlawed due to them involving very young girls. You'd really have to play the game to understand why it turned out that way.
I loved this game, and I thought it would fit in here, considering we will more than likely get Fire Emblem characters. I'm looking forward to playing with all of you <3 Current Mood: excited

This game will officially open on June 1st, 2009
Until then, please make your reservations on the characters you wish to apply for. For the month of June, the one-week time limit between applications will be lifted, and you may apply for as many characters as you wish (within the ten-character limit). This is to help fill our ranks and bring more interaction among the players and characters.
Until a good, decent app is received for Mother Brain, Princess Lana, and Captain N, they will be NPC'd as necessary by myself. I'll try and keep it to a minimum, mostly for plot devices and the like.
Questions? Fire 'em off!

Got an idea for how things could run more smoothly? Is there a certain event you'd like to see happen? Want to be involved in certain events or mix it up with someone new?
Comment here with suggestions, ideas, or just to let people know your character is up for something in particular and want to see who's interested. Do not
comment anonymously, or bring wank. Also, keep in mind that some ideas will be turned down. It's nothing personal, so don't be too upset.
RP ideas should affect multiple characters, not just your own. There are exceptions, but try to think of things where people can get involved.

The twelve days of..
As some people have pointed out (mostly me probably but whatever), the Palace needs to do more proactive stuff instead of sitting on their hands and waiting for the Fortress to attack something.
Currently we are in the middle of a major TP and the Fortress has the Palace by the balls with the capture of Monika, possession of Greenland, tons of successful robberies, and so on. Lana has ordered that quadruple assault tonight, which I hope will go down, because it's a totally awesome idea. We ought to do more stuff like that, especially now when Palace morale is low due to recent events.
This in mind, it would be quite nice if we simply didn't let up following the quadruple attack tonight and assaulted Fortress territories in some shape or way continuously for the next, oh, twelve days, or until Monika is returned. In light of the holiday-which-shall-not-be-named fast approaching, my twisted little mind came up with the Twelve days of...well, name pending.
For example, the following day, somebody can cheerfully announce on the interzone, "On the 12th day of whateverthehellwecallit, the Fortress gave to me...12 robot masters!" Then the Palace would go out and punk/steal 12 robot masters. This is a bad example since this would require Dr. Wily's permission to mess with his NPCs, but that's pretty much the gist of it.
What we need is stuff to fill in for the twelve days. In order for this to work, we ought to try avoiding going after specific-person related things, unless the villains wish to volunteer for this. I think part of the reason the Fortress attacks are so successful is that they attend to avoid focusing on specific personal areas or objects that belong to people that are actively being played. For example, attacking Peach's castle versus attacking Guardia's castle. In our case for the heroes, it could be along the lines of attacking Ganon's fortress versus attacking Castle Wolfenstien which is a room that gets ZERO press.
So again, questions, comments, and stuff suggestions. I know I'm due to assault Shinra tower, so maybe that can be integrated into this (fiiiiiiive Mako reactors?).

Case File: Mia Asua and Angela
Case Title: Mako Posioning, Re: Mia Asua, Angela
Filed By: Angel.exe for Angela and the Palace Medical Staff
Date Filed: Daangard's Month, 17th
Report: In the progress of a suscessful raid on a Mako Reactor in Midgar, Mia Asua and Angela were both exposed to Mako. In the days to follow, both showed seperate symptoms of Mako Posioning.
Patient File: Mia Asua
Patient first experienced nausea and exhaustion, and a hint of a green glow in the eyes. This was followed by increasing irritability and uncharistic urges to violence. This grew into paranoia and erratic behavior in the days to follow. This morning she vanished, to points unknown. The mako is somehow conflicting strongly with the native magic of her zone. Given how the green glow in her eyes has grown, (a telltale of mako posioning) the Mako is having an increasing effect.
Patient File: Angela Aensland
Patient had a significantly lower exposure to Mako than Mia, and as a result, suffered signifigantly weaker symptoms. Her major symptoms were a rash in the contact area, and severe headaches when attempting to use magic. This was similar to what happened to her a year ago, and faded over a few days as her natural magic overcame the mako.
Bloodwork Analysis: *Normal Results. Angela is a healthy young woman*

Case File: The Dragon, The Shark and The Goblin Army.
Submitted by Ness
A group of us heard about these rumours of a dragon attacking farmsteads near the cloudy mountains in the Adventure Zone. We went and checked it out, spoke to a few of the families and so on. There's a widowed mother we should probably take care of, too.
We tried speaking to the dragon, but Wonder Boy attacked it. We subdued WB (which is probably the cause of his recent vendetta against Palace personnel - sorry, but we needed the information and there were innocents around) and the dragon both, and then we learned from the drake that it had been driven from its lair by a man in black. After a bit more psionic plodding, I managed to find out the man in question was Gameshark, and the dragon remembered seeing a whole lot of monsters - goblinoids for the most part. The dragon we let go. It hasn't been back since. Conclusions
Travis seems to be gathering an army of some kind. If anyone needs directions to the area for reconnaissance, I've attached them below.

MONKEY ISLANDFiled By:
Currently, Booty and Plunder Islands have been invaded and are in Mother Brain's control. The one civilized island remaining is Melee Island. Requesting Palace Operatives to set up a resistance center here, while others move on taking back the other two islands and restoring freedom to the native inhabitants.
This is Guybrush Threepwood's home zone. While not an associate with the Palace of Power, he has been a good ally in the past and has good standing. It is reported that Monkey Island has several artifacts and voodoo items which Mother Brain may be trying to possess.SUMMARY
Melee Island: Requires Resistance Center
Booty Island: Drive Out EVIL
Plunder Island: Drive Out EVIL
Monkey Island: Guard against those who would steal the artifacts it contains

Team Liaison Program
Ok, we were talking about this on O-Palace tonight, and I think it deserves posting here.
We've got a number of groups, who are each effective teams of crack fighters, diplomats, scientists, spell weavers, etc. However, for things that would involve two or more groups as units... things are less effective. So, to counter this, the Team Liasion Program is started, where one member of each team is swapped out for a couple of weeks to learn how the other teams worked, and then after the swap that person would serve as the go-between for those teams.
So how would this work? Well, if you want to be one of the swapped people, first talk to the leaders of both your group, and the group you want to be swapped into. If they both give the go-ahead, poof! you get removed from your permentant group, and added to the reciving group. For a period of time, like a week or two, you RP this transfer, working with that group. After this, you get transfered back.
So? Comments? Ideas? Sugestions? Flames?
My first sugestion is that there be some sort of limit on the numbers switched at one time, so that a group dosen't loose too many members at once, or become flooded with outsiders. Like... no more than one in five of the active members of a group can leave.
My second idea is that each transfer be recipical, where each pair of teams trade two members for the duration.
Oh, and I'm allready talking with Agras and Red Wizard about Angela temporarly transfering to the Palace Guard.
